Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens
Well that’s not really their name but a title like that is good for the search engines 
The real name for the gardens is the Great Sandy Region Botanical Garden - Hervey Bay. If you haven’t been there yet you really should take the time to spend an hour or two wandering along the pathways and enjoying the peace and beauty of the place.
You’ll find the gardens in Elizabeth Street Urangan and we can recommend the place. It really can be described as tranquil at just about any time of the day but we love it first thing in the morning.
There are well set out pathways to take you through the gardens and there are plenty of places to stop and enjoy the plant life and the bird life too.
