Link Corridor Extensions
Hervey Bay City Council has announced that the Link Corridor will soon be extended across Boat Harbour Drive. Work is almost completed on the extension from Old Maryborough Road to Boat Harbour Drive.
In February work will commence on the installation of traffic lights to protect the crossing of Boat Harbour Drive. The lights are specially designed to stop traffic on only one side of Boat Harbour Drive at a time. Council estimates that it will take around five weeks to install the lights and a protected traffic island in the middle of Boat Harbour Drive.
