Blood Pressure and Hypertension Can Change With the Weather

A new Italian study has shown that blood pressure can change with the weather. The study, conducted by the University of Florence has show that hot nights translate into higher blood pressure for those over 65.

At the same time the blood pressure of people under 65 tended to drop on hot nights.

The study was carried out over a period of 14 months during which the team conducting the study tracked the 24 hour blood pressure of over 6,400 people with an average age of 59.
