Even though eBay has an Australian presence at http://www.ebay.com.au many people think of eBay as being predominantly American. However, the actual numbers of active users reflect the true international flavor of the online market and at current join rates by 2007 there will be more international users of eBay than Americans.
Here in Hervey Bay there are a surprising number of regular eBay users who bid on a wide range of goods offered both here in Australia and in the United States.
