What is the Council Doing to Attract Industry to Hervey Bay?
If there is one thing that many people in this town agree on it’s the need for more industry to come to Hervey Bay. If we want this town to be economically viable then we need to end our dependence on the tourist dollar.
So what is Hervey Bay doing to attract more industry to this area?
Sure we’re making land available out near the airport but are we actively seeking businesses to come to Hervey Bay or are we just hoping that ‘if we build it they will come’?
Isis Shire Council plans on launching a $50,000 marketing campaign to attract businesses from the Sunshine Coast so why aren’t we seeing similar activity from the Hervey Bay City Council?
