Feeding the Dolphins at Tin Can Bay
If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend then why not take an early morning drive out to Tin Can Bay to feed the dolphins?

It’s quite a pleasant drive from Hervey Bay to Tin Can Bay but you will need to leave early. The dolphins can appear anywhere from 7am onwards so you should plan to leave around 5am to 5.15am at the latest.

Even though there are often plenty of people everyone get’s a turn at feeding the dolphins that come in and there is something magical about being within touching distance of a wild creature the size of a dolphin.

G’day Stanley,
It’s really easy to find where the dolphins are fed - although I needed my wife to point it out for me
Just continue down the road that brings you into Tin Can Bay and you will find that it ends in a big car park. When you’re in the car park you will see a large building and that is the yacht club.
Look to the left of that building and you will see a coffee shop right on the waterfront. In between the coffee shop and the yacht club is where the dolphins are fed.
And come dressed for warm weather - even the locals are still wearing shorts in May up here

G’day Stanley,
I’m not sure what’s happening with the Bendigo Bank - I did see some posters up around the place earlier in the week that suggested things were about to move on to the next stage but, unfortunately, I didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to them.
