The interest rate rise brought the current rates up to 6%, perhaps a little lower than some people expected. It will be interesting to see just what affect that rise has on Hervey Bay real estate where sales appear to have been steady and auctions well attended.
Even today, after the interest rate increase was announced, the house next door to our office was being inspected by potential buyers and it’s definitely not at the cheap end of the market.
