What they did not say was it was Hervey Bay Hospital & Maryborough Hospitals that released them.And the FOI officer was not charged because it was " out of time", the same as Dr Keating (Bundaberg Patel saga). Qld Health's excuse was that, the whole State health system was ignorant of Privacy laws, and blaming the Crown Solicitor was accepted by the CMC. You have to start asking, have they turned the corner when they intend to change the HSA to water down Privacy in the State Health System as was said in a letter to me? Why has not the local media said anything in the last 3 mths to notify the local public that Qld Health have illegally released other peoples' health records. Why has Mr Foley MP of Maryborough not asked the Health minister "on notice" how many people from Hervey bay & Maryborough had there files illegally released ? The reason I know all about this is because it was me on TV Ch7, and it was my files. The phone transcript between me and FOI officer, as well as how my files ware used are tabled in Qld State Parliament free of charge > Tabled Papers Office...No: 1113...dated March 2007. You have to email Tabled Papers Office. this will also name the FOI officer and the Dr who used them.
