They’re out pounding the pavement again
For over 20 years the Lions Clubs here in Hervey Bay have been out and about at this time of year selling their well-known Christmas cakes and they’re out again this year.
That means that you can expect a knock on the door any weekday afternoon as Santa and his bigger helpers do their rounds. So be prepared to buy a bargain because the Lions Christmas cakes are definitely top quality and the money is going to a good cause.
This year the Lions clubs of Hervey Bay will also be sending a box of Christmas cakes over to the diggers in Afghanistan.
