Exercise Equipment on the Esplanade

Hervey Bay City Council have been busy adding a new feature to the joint bikeway/footpath on the Esplanade over the last few weeks.

Exercise stations have been appearing at regular intervals along the pathway. Each station is fitted with two pieces of equipment that are free for anyone to use. Instructions are provided on plaques adjacent to each piece of equipment.

These two photos were taken at two stations located near Aquavue at Torquay.

    Wow - That is actually pretty cool of the council to do that! Good on ‘em! Can’t hurt to do a bit more exercise once in a while

    Wow - what a great idea , we have just been to Hervey bay on Hoilday. Had a great time ,except the stay at your Local Back packers ( WoolShed ) cockroachs,mice, bugs that bite while you are asleep ekkk, other than that what a great little city …….good on you Hervey Bay
