At 5.40am this morning the Bureau of Meteorology advised that Tropical Cyclone Odette continued to be rated as a Category 1 and remains in a similar position to the previous reports.
Odette is expected to remain slow moving and maintain a position well east of the Queensland coast for the next two to three days. During this time it is expected to slowly intensify.
