Beware of Your Spa
We all associate legionnaires disease with air conditioners but there’s another place it could be lurking here in Hervey Bay.

If you own a spa then legionella could be hiding in the filters and pipes of your spa. Of course you won’t see them but if they’re in those places they will be endangering your health.
Getting rid of them, if they’re already there, or keeping them at bay is not all that difficult. All you have to do is empty your spa once a month and then manually clean the filters and pipes. It’s as simple as that.
