Some Harsh Words for Garry Parr
Some very harsh words have been levelled at our wannabe (but never will be) local member Garry Parr and sadly he deserves every one of them. God knows what the Labor Party was thinking of when they picked him for a candidate.

A couple of weeks ago he called the parents of a serving soldier ‘war mongers’. He seems to forget that:
Soldiers and their families do not commit a nation to war - that is the job of politicians. But soldiers are a necessary part of keeping us safe.
Perhaps he should wake up to what it’s like to be a parent of a serving soldier - quite frankly there are no bigger pacifists than those of us who stand to lose our children.
