Plenty of Whales Heading North

The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries is suggesting that this year could be a great on for whales.

The Department is expecting around 9,500 whales to head up the Queensland coast this year so that means that plenty of them will find there way into Hervey Bay for a rest before they return south.

So if you’re coming to Hervey Bay to see the whales then there’s a very good chance that you’ll see plenty of action and the whale boats in Hervey Bay will get you up close and personal to it all.
