Now the World Can See Your House
Wednesday, August 6th, 2008Yesterday Google released their latest addition to their Google Maps site - street views for many parts of Australia … including Hervey Bay.
Now you can type the complete address of just about any house or business in Hervey Bay into Google Maps and be shown a photo of the surrounding streetcape … including the house at the address.
Here’s what you can see when you type the address of the complex where our office is located down in Liuzzi Street.
To check out the way the world can now see your house in Google Maps simply go to http://www.google.com/maps … type your address into the search box on that page …. wait till the map appears and then click on the little icon that appears in the street and an image of the streetscape will appear.
You can rotate the image, move up and down the street and even zoom in on anything that you want to take a close look at. Not every street in Hervey Bay has been covered but most of them have.
