The answer, was that was the story councillor Nior had given them. There have been a number of issues where the good councillor's story and the facts differ!!!! Based on the article in our "local" and the telephone calls I have since made, there seems to be little, if any, difference to the flight I made to Melbourne some two months ago. We won't see DIRECT flights from the Bay to Melbourne in my life time, the numbers just don't stack up I contacted the writer of the story in our “local” paper and ask the same question.
