You should then enter your name and your email address. Your name will appear on the Gossip but your email address will not. We need your email address to ensure that you are a real person and that is the only purpose it's used for. (We detest spam as much as you do so we don't release your email address to anyone)
Ignore the section that asks for your website and then add your comments in the large box. When you're done simply press the submit button and your comment will appear on the Gossip. Other people may respond to what you have said and we would encourage you to respond to them too. The best discussions are those that are ongoing so don't think that you are only allowed to speak on a subject just once.
Please remember - while the Gossip does encourage you to speak your mind we would urge you to remain polite and not say anything you wouldn't want your children to read. Feel free to abuse the editor - he's used to it :)

Yes, there is advertising on the Hervey Bay Gossip. Some is clickable and some is not. Some of the advertising has an obvious connection to the people of Hervey Bay while others may be of little interest to locals.
