Jet Skiing in Hervey Bay

The waters of the bay are calm and Fraser Island is just a short hop away and that's where you'll find some pristine beaches that can only be reached from the water.

If you'd rather tear up the water and get the adrenalin pumping then you can do that on your jet ski too. Of course the usual maritime laws apply but you won't find a lot of other watercraft out there on the Bay so you can have a lot of fun.

If you bring your own jet ski to Hervey Bay and if you do you will find that there are a number of points that you can launch your jet ski from. They range from a dual lane ramp at the Urangan Boat Harbour that includes plenty of parking for your vehicle and trailer right through to some fairly basic ramps at points further along the beach.

You should note that some of these ramps are only accessible shortly before and shortly after high tide. The boat ramp beside the sailing club at Torquay is one boat ramp that is not accessible at low tide.

This boat ramp, located between Torquay and Point Vernon may look fairly basic but there is parking for vehicles and trailers just behind the photographer and it does have a concrete base under all that water. You can also launch from this boat ramp at low tide.
